Question 11

How does the coaching practicum work?

Accepted Answer

TJT University matches each candidate with a Founding Client from TJT Life Division. TJT University makes the match. Matching accounts for coaching fit and appropriate professional boundaries. The engagement is twelve coaching sessions. Three are recorded and submitted for evaluation during the certification practicum. At the agreed cadence the engagement typically continues after the program ends. Supervision continues for the full engagement.

Yes, with a TJT Materials License. Certification lets you describe yourself as a TJT Certified Coach and state that you trained at TJT University. No. TJT Certification is a proprietary credential issued by TJT University. It is not a state issued license, professional license, or authorization to practice a regulated profession.

Question 27

Is TJT Coaching therapy?

Accepted Answer

No. The TJT Coaching Methodology is a performance and leadership methodology. It does not include therapy, counseling, diagnosis, psychotherapy, trauma treatment, crisis intervention, medical treatment, or healthcare.
